Aamod incense sticks burn with a subtle aroma, infusing the goodness of Oud, sanctity of Tulsi, calmness of Citronella, and invigorating Eucalyptus in the air around you, creating Aamod.
We currently have two flavours/variants:
Citronella & Eucalyptus blend powerfully, purifying air, boosting focus, and offering respiratory relief (eucalyptus decongests, opens nasal passages, and helps with cough). The citrusy scent uplifts mood, reduces stress, and provides a chemical-free insect repellent to keep mosquitoes, ticks, and bugs away.
Oud & Tulsi is a sacred ancient blend that has historically been used in religious ceremonies and ayurvedic practices, relaxing and invigorating, reducing stress, and taking you back to the origin of agarbattis – to the original Agarwood which is the heartwood of Aquilaria trees (forming the resinous Oud or Gaharu aromatic wood).
Much like mother nature that keeps on giving, our luxury incense boxes attempt to do so too. While each box carries a complimentary hand made and GI-certified artisanal incense holder inside, the tray itself also doubles up as an incense holder, catching all the ash within itself while you store the contents in the drawer sleeve.

How long does a stick typically burn?
Each luxury incense stick burns for approximately 45-60 minutes
Are the incense sticks made from natural ingredients?
Yes, our incense sticks are handcrafted from pure essential oils and unadulterated natural botanicals, with no synthetic additives.
How should I ideally store the incense?
Store your incense in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight to preserve their fragrance and freshness. Your box’s drawer sleeve doubles up as the storage unit while you use the tray as an ash collector.
What is the best way to experience Aamod incense?
Light a match at the tip of the stick and hold for 2-3 seconds when the flame appears. Then blow the flame out and use the handmade and GI-certified artisanal incense holder to place your stick. Alternatively, use the box’s tray itself as a holder and ash collector – an industry first innovation.
Make sure to keep away from curtains or from any flammable substance. Do not ingest and please keep out of reach of children.

ABOUT US
Our Origin
Our founder, who comes from a long history of nearly 20 years of volunteer and pro-bono work in areas of social impact, spent a good part of the last 7-8 years focusing on his pet initiatives : water conservation, permaculture, and soil rejuvenation. These areas of work inevitably intersected with the adverse impact of human activity on the environment and one such place to start making a positive difference was to reduce the carbon footprint of flowers going to waste – either in landfills or polluting waterbodies. Reclaiming these sacred flowers and integrating them back into our lives through a sustainable circular process was at the heart of creation of Aamod. Even without ever being directly involved, Ankit’s work at the Kanpur Flowercycling company was a source of inspiration in making this dream real.
Furthering two other pillars of our core philosophy, Aamod aims to create fair employment and sustainable flower recycling cooperatives across the country in the future. Fair employment, by virtue of employing marginalized women and transgenders (who do not usually get Integrated into the mainstream workforce, let alone being offered health and retirement benefits that are otherwise table-stakes in corporate jobs). Sustainable flower recycling cooperatives by virtue of supporting or setting up circular economies across the country, rooted in bio waste management.
